Picasso Face found on the road about a mile above the Echo Park campground. As you enter into lower Pool Creek canyon, it will be on your right.
Back country hike above the Echo Park campground. This isn't a long hike, but it is very strenuous.
Steamboat Rock in DNM -at the water’s edge towers above you almost 800 ft. At its highest point, it’s over 1000 ft.

Steamboat Rock can be found in Echo Park, the Center of the Universe for us.

These photos show the east side of Steamboat Rock as seen from the west rim of the Jenny Lind bench, taken on a back country hike in the Echo Park area. You can access this hike by walking  about a mile up the road from the campground until you find the Picasso Face pictured above. Jump across Pool Creek and walk upstream to the game trail that will take you up to the top of the bench. If you want to walk the whole rim, strike out across the middle to the East side and walk all the way around the rim. From the campground and back, doing the whole rim is about a 5 mile hike.
